USDA Land Values 2020 | Indiana Farmland Focus

Last week, the USDA released its annual land value report. We reviewed it and hand-picked the most pertinent data for Hoosiers and Indiana farmland owners. Many non-operating landowners (NOLs) request land values and price per acre reports from our team regularly, and we are always happy to provide no obligation land values reports to those that request them. Agricultural Real Estate value has held steady for the past several years.

Over the past 14 years, we see a slow and steady increase in overall price per acre of farm real estate.

Indiana has some of the highest value farmland in the country. This is attributed to our excellent soil quality and climate amicable to crop growth. Low inventory and strong buyer demand also support strong land values.
